Soms komt er zo’n idee in je hoofd wat je niet los laat. Met een voorliefde voor conceptuele kunst, ben ik fan van kunstenaar Joseph Beuys. Zijn vilten pak zag ik op een goed moment hangen in een museum in Berlijn. Moest dat niet eens terug in de kast? En hoe zou die kast er dan uit zien? Zou iemand het grapje wel begrijpen? En zo nee, is dat dan erg? Oordeel zelf.

There are times when an idea pops inside your head that will not let you go. I love conceptual art, and thoroughly enjoy the challenges made by conceptual artist Joseph Beuys. Having seen his felt suit in a Berlin museum, I couldn’t help but think that this is the time that it needs to go back into the closet. What would that closet look like? Would anybody actually get the joke? And if not, does it matter? Feel free to judge.
